Description
Ganesha, the son of Parvati and Shiva, is one of the best-known and most worshipped Hindu deities. He is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences, deva of intellect and wisdom. Considered as God of beginnings, he is honoured at the start of rites and ceremonies.
Ganesha is potbellied and generally depicted holding ladoos in his hand, of which he is very fond. His vahana (vehicle) is the large Indian bandicoot rat.

Ganesha is my favorite God. I love playing with bricks since I was 5 years old. I like building cars and rockets using bricks.
The idea of building an Indian God using bricks was wonderful. I was very excited when I saw all the pieces when I opened the box. The finished Idol was very nice and realistic. The best moments during the build was when I built the head and legs as I learnt some new ways to connect bricks. I loved the idol so much that have kept it in my bedroom. I hope Indic Bricks brings many such gods, temples, monuments, heritage sets.

Having spent years in an ideas business (advertising) I can only say Indic Bricks is a lovely idea if their first product is anything to go by. More so since it has come at a time when parents want to tell their children our stories like never before. Imagine telling your child the story of Ganesh”s birth, how he spoilt showoff Kuber’s party etc while your child is building him with bricks n blocks. Amazing! I look forward to many more such ideas from Indic Bricks. Bhagwans n mandirs, raths n kailas, n more.

Its just amazing how beautiful the model came out to be. I had bought this for my nephew for his birthday. He is obsessed with Lego, so I was searching on Amazon and found this. I was not sure about the quality, as I had never heard of the brand Indic Bricks, but decided to give it a try as its wasn’t very expensive. My nephew said it’s exactly like Lego. He was super happy with the build and so was his grandmother who wants to keep the Ganesha in the Puja room now! 😄

Congrats and great to see the blocks of Indian gods! I was thinking all these years, why no one has done it! We build it, took around 2.5 hrs, good clear instructions. Wonderful to look at after the construction.
